The university of Mysore was established on 1916 and grown into one of the leading academic institutions in India. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded five-star status with A grade accreditation. The university has 42 post graduate departments and providing higher education for 85 lakh students through regular and distance education.
