Regarding Application
When shall we apply for TNEA 2017?

Application process for B.Arch and B.E/B.Tech are same?
No. You must apply separately.
When will they start application process for B.Arch?
The date will be announced by the University officially. This is not yet announced. You shall check out for the dates at: TNEA 2017 Dates
Is it necessary to remember the Application Number?
Yes. You must remember the application number till the counselling process gets over. You can get the counselling call letter, rank list, random number and application status by using the application number.
Can I buy application form from University?
The University has stopped issuing printed application forms from TNEA 2016. So, you must apply for TNEA 2017 through the online application form.
What is the last date to send applications?
This will notified through an official statement by the TNEA secretary. Check out for the dates : TNEA 2017 Dates
Regarding the Counselling
Which college I can select from the counselling?
You are free to select any college and course from the available colleges for your eligibility and category when you attend the counselling. Nobody can restrict from it.
Should I have choices before attending counselling?
Yes. Having choices of college and course is good to avoid last minute mistakes. Atleast have 3 choices of college and course before attending the counselling. Analyse the cutoff mark trend with the tool : http://cutoff.annauniversitycounselling.com
Can I get last year Cutoff mark details?
Yes. You can get TNEA 2016 cutoff mark details at -> http://cutoff.annauniversitycounselling.com. This tool will be active once when the official database is released by the Anna University. Do not believe any details from Fake websites. We attach only official data.
Any Important advice to students?
- Select course based on your interest and get advice from the seniors on the course. Select college which gives space for extra-curricular activities.
- Have choices of college and course before attending the counselling
- Do not believe middlemen for getting seats in Colleges.
- Don’t pay any bribe or additional fee to get college seat. Don’t waste money for that.
When will I get refund?

Any categories in counselling?
Yes. The counselling will be conducted for the following categories.
- Academic General Counselling
- Sports Counselling
- Vocational Counselling
- Differently abled students and Other quota Counselling
