Private Candidates can register themselves for SSLC Public exam in Government Examination Service Centres located in all educational districts. Instant Special Supplementary June/July sessions
This Examination is conducted only for those candidates who failed in March/April Sessions of the same year.
Supplementary Examination September/October
Students who have failed in one or more subjects in difference sessions and direct private candidates can apply for this Examination subject to completion of Science Practical Training.
Eligibility for appearing of SSLC Examination 2017
There shall be a Government Examination at the end of the course in X Standard and the school students i.e Pupil Candidates who are studying in a recognized High school and Higher Secondary School and have completed the required age criteria are eligible to appear for the SSLC Public Examination conduct by this department during the month of March/April every year
Eligibility for appearing of SSLC Public Examination Private Candidate
VIII Standard Passed with English as a Language, 9th Standard discontinued, ESLC passed certificates, Studied 8th standard under SSA, Nonformal and Residential school scheme and got TC with 8th Standard pass, “C” Level certificate from open school, 141/2 years completed child Labourers who got TC with 8th pass from Non-Formal under the Child Labour Education Scheme of Labour Ministry are all eligible to appear for SSLC Examination.

Candidates are permitted to apply for retotalling in all subjects within the dates prescribed by this Department after the publication of results. Only increase in marks will be given effect.

Candidate who have written SSLC Public Examination (Regular and Private Candidates) can download their Provisional Certificates from dge website. Private students need not wait for their turn to get mark sheet after the publication of results of regular students. Any defect in this Provisional Certificate can be brought to the notice of this department and error free Mark Certificate can be received by them.
