A New System of issuing temporary mark certificates (Provisional Certificate) was introduced from the year 2015.The certificate will be valid only for a period of 90 days. Candidates can check the accuracy of the marks and their detail and in case of any discrepancy, it can be rectified in the original mark certificate.

Tamil Nadu Board HSC Re-totalling

Candidates are permitted to apply for re-totalling in all subjects within the dates prescribed by this Department after the publication of results. Increase / decrease will be given effect. The marks secured by the candidate will be added once again and awarded. Any question left unvalued will be valued and marks will be awarded. Since the answer is valued only during the Re-totalling process. It will be mentioned only as Re-total process. Re-totalling is done for all subjects in Higher Secondary & SSLC examinations on payment of fees.
