National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) JEE-2017

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.It invites application for NCHM JEE-2017 from the candidates seeking admission in Institute of Hotel Management across India. The National Council of Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University offer the Bachelor of Science program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration jointly.

The official website for NCHMCT is http://www.nchm.nic.in/.

The application form of NCHM JEE-2017 is available online on the official website, i.e., https://applyadmission.net/nchmjee2017/. The last date to apply for application process online is 16th April 2017.

NCHM JEE – 2016 will be conducted on 29 April 2017.

The application fee for General/OBCCategory is Rs.800 (Online Mode) and Rs.900 (Offline Mode).

The application fee for SC/ST/PD Category is Rs.400 (Online Mode) and Rs.450 (Offline Mode).

NCHM JEE – 2017 Application Procedure

Here are the steps to apply to the NCHM JEE-2017 application process.

  • Go to the official website of the council, e., https://applyadmission.net/nchmjee2017/.
  • Click on the link “Click here to apply online”.
  • After that click on the link “Fresh Candidate (CLICK HERE) to Create Log In
  • Fill in the personal details like Name, Date of birth, Category, email id, etc. and then submit all these details.
  • In the next step login with your email id and date of birth to fill the online application form.
  • After login enters all the required details, upload the scanned images of your recent photograph and signature, and save them.
  • Now, make the payment either through online or offline mode.
  • At the end save and submit all the details.
  • Take a print of the application form and fee receipt for the future reference.

NCHM JEE2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria can apply for the NCHM JEE-2017.

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent from a recognized board/university with English as one of the subjects.
  • Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
  • Those who are appearing in 10+2 exam in 2017 can also appear in NCHM JEE-2017 on the provisional basis.
  • For General/OBC category candidate, the upper age limit is 22 years as on 1st July 2017 and for the SC/ST category candidate, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 1st July 2017
  • The admission will only be offered to the candidate after verification of original certificates/documents.

NCHM JEE2017 Exam Pattern

  • The question paper will be in two languages, i.e. English and Hindi.
  • The paper will be divided into four sections, i.e., Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, Aptitude for Service Sector.
  • There will be a total of 200 multiple-choice questions in the examination.
  • One mark will be given for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

NCHM JEE – 2017 Admit Card

Admit Card will be made available for the candidates to download from

www.nchm.nic.in & https://applyadmission.net/nchmjee2017  from

22nd April 2017 onwards. Admit Card will not be sent by post to any candidate.Candidates are advised to preserve this authenticated admit card for further selection processes at individual institutes. Entry in examination hall will only be allowed with the admit card.

Result of the NCHM JEE-2017 will be announced on Council’s website

www.nchmcounselling.nic.in and www.nchm.nic.in during the third week of May 2017.
