Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) is a Public University in Madurai, a lakh of students are getting graduate every year. First, it named as University of Madras. In order honour K.Kamaraj former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, they changed to Madurai Kamaraj University. It is a member in Association of Indian Universities among nine universities. The MKU offer presently 62 UG programs, 45 PG programs, 17 Diploma/PG Diploma/Certified programs in various departments. To enhance student’s wisdom the university have research departments and around 2428 students and research scholars are working in that department.

MKU conduct exams in odd and even semester. Mostly odd semester exams will conduct in the month of November/December and even semester exams in the month of April/May. The odd semester exams start in November and ends in last of December and it will take January for 1st year students. They are advised to prepare for the exams. The students who are all reappearing for the exams can also make use of this notification.

- In the exam notification section, check for Nov Dec schedule.
- Then click on Nov Dec 2017 schedule in which PDF file will open.
- Search your course and take a printout of correct page number of your course.
Under this option, the exam schedule will display separately for UG and PG programs (for both regular and correspondence students).
