MHT CET 2017: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell has released the the official notice the MHT CET exam 2017. It announced that the exam would be conducted on May 11, 2017. The online registration has begun. Interested candidates can apply from the official website.

The MHT CET exam is conducted to admit candidates to the full time undergraduate degree courses in Engineering/ Technology (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy (BPharm/Pharm D) in various recognised institutions in Maharashtra. The paper will be conducted in three parts. Paper I will contain questions on Mathematics, paper II on Physics and Chemistry and paper III on Biology.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2017 for Engineering

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) for Engineering is a state level entrance exam conducted by the admissions regulating authority and state common entrance test cell for admission to undergraduate degree courses in Engineering. MHT-CET-2016 is applicable for admission to Private Professional Educational Institutions.

Admit Card for MHT CET- 2017 will be out soon and candidates can download their admit card from the official website, i.e./mhtcet2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/, from 24th April 2017 to 11th May 2017. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2017 for Engineering will be conducted on 11th May 2017.

Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has released the notification of MHT CET 2017 Admissions. The online application form has been released for candidates seeking admission to Engineering and Pharmacy under Graduate Courses for the 2017-18 session. Through MHT CET 2017, candidates will get admissions to the courses such as, B.E, B Pharm/ Pharm. D, B.tech. Candidates appear for MHT CET 2017 for getting admission in the Government, Government Aided, University Departments, University Managed and Unaided Institutes in the state of Maharashtra. The MH CET 2017 Application Form has been released by the authority on 14th February 2017 and available till the 23rd March 2017. Candidates can fill and submit the application form through the official site of the authority. Before filling the application form, candidates are advised to be ready with the scanned images of photograph & signature in the prescribed specifications.

Candidates can apply for MHT CET 2017 by visiting the official website of Directorate of Technical Education, dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mhtcet2017. After visiting the homepage, candidates will have to click on “MHT-CET 2017” link given in the Degree Programmes part. Thereafter, candidates will have to click on the “Apply Online” from the important links and then on the “Apply Now” link. After reading important instructions candidates will have to register online with the details and click on ‘Confirm’.

Eligibility Criteria for MHT CET-2017 Engineering Exam

Candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria can apply for the MHT CET-2017 Engineering Exam.

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam or equivalent from a recognized board/ university.
  • A candidate appearing for the final year of exams is also eligible to apply.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with subjects English, Physics,Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam for general category and 40% marks in case of reserved category.
  • There is no age limit for admission.

Exam Pattern for MHT CET-2017 Engineering Exam

  • The exam will be based on OMR pattern.
  • The entrance exam will have two papers.

Note

Candidate seeking admission to Engineering and Technology degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.

Candidate seeking admission to Pharmacy/ Pharm. D degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper-I and/or Paper-III.

    • Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees.
    • No other mode of payment shall be permitted.
    • This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Admit Card for MHT CET-2017 Engineering Exam

For Admit Card, the candidate has to visit our website http://mhtcet2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in any time between 24th April 2017 to 10th May 2017 and take a print out of the same where your MHT-CET 2017 Roll No. and the address of the test centre will be mentioned along with other registration details.

The online registrations for MHT CET 2017 have begun from February 14. The admist card will be issued from March 24. Candidates will be able to download the admit card till April 11. The MHT CET 2017 will be conducted on May 11. The result of MHT CET 2017 will be declared on or before June 4.
