Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an exam for the undergraduate engineering students to check their skills and it also serves as the entrance examination for various post graduate institutions like Indian Institutes of Science & Technology. It also serves as a preliminary examination for various job variances in government for engineering discipline. For the admission of M.E/ M.Tech posts in IIT, IISc and various other institutions scoring a good mark in GATE is necessary. And some of the central government and other Engineering related organizations are also asking GATE score as a basic requirement for eligibility.
GATE 2018 Notification Expected Date For Exam Notification
The GATE examination is held in February and notification for the exam will be announced in September. The application form for applying for GATE exam will be available on month of September. The students who have completed undergraduate course in Engineering and those who are studying in final year can apply for the GATE examination until the last date in the month of October. The admit card for the exam will be available on the first week of January. And the GATE examination will be held in the First & Second Saturday & Sunday of February 2018.
