The Cochin University of Science and Technology was established in 1971 as University of Cochin and became one of the leading technical higher education institutions in the state. The university offers post graduate and undergraduate courses in various fields of science and technology like humanities, science, Marine sciences, Engineering, Environmental, technology, studies, and social science. The university offers also research programs in engineering and technology. There are 14 undergraduate courses, 53 postgraduate courses, and 9 M.Phil and Ph.D programs currently being offered by the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

The examinations for the undergraduate students who are studying in the various departments of the university are being held in April and May and the official notification for the examinations and the time schedule for the examination have been announced and available for the verification of the students in the official Cochin University of Science and Technology website. The examinations for the various courses in the undergraduate department like B.Tech (CS, EE, ME, CE, EI, SE) have started in the first week of the April and going on. The examinations for the other undergraduate courses are also being held in April.

The examinations for the post graduate courses like M.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A, and M.A are also starting and the examination notification and the exam schedule has been announced and available on the university website. The students are advised to check their time table and the syllabus of the course based on the regulation and joining year if they are reappearing for the examinations. The application process for the examinations was already finished and some of the exams are going on. The examinations for M.C.A 2nd semester is starting in 17th April. The 4th-semester examinations are starting in 12th April and the 6th-semester exams in 24th April.

Students are advised to check the notification for rescheduling of the examinations to avoid mistakes during the exams and the results for the undergraduate and postgraduate degree students studying in Cochin University of Science and Technology are expected to be announced in July after the completion of the evaluation process which will take place immediately after the commencement of the examinations.
