The Indian Council of Agricultural Research is one of the research institutions that is formed to research the various technologies and methods to improve the agricultural profit of India. The Central Institute for Cotton Research is responsible for developing new methods and technologies for developing the production of cotton. The CICR is currently looking for potential candidates for the posts of Young Professional, Junior and Senior Research Fellows and the interested candidates can apply for the posts after checking the qualifications and methods to apply for the posts are given below.

 Educational Qualification

Young Professional II

• Entomology: Post graduation in Agri. Entomology/Nematology/ any other discipline in agricultural studies.
• Plant Pathology: PG in Plant Pathology/Agri. Entomology/Nematology/ any other discipline in agricultural studies.
• Plant Breeding: PG in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ other related field.

Young Professional I

Graduate Degree in Agriculture with good computer skills.

How to apply

The candidates have to attend the walk-in-interview directly along with the original documents for verifying their eligibility and qualifications.

Selection Process

The interview process will be a direct walk-in-interview and there maybe screening tests to reduce the number of applicants who are applying. The interview will test the knowledge and the interest of the candidates to do research in the field and the eligible candidates will be appointed for the jobs.
