Bihar Government in its attempt to enlarge the number of prison wardens in the state, is all set to recruit as many as 2649 Kakshpal in the year 2015. The forms are out and the eligible candidates would receive a pay scale of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 along with a grade pay of Rs 1900.

Seat Allotment
The government is all set to recruit 50% of the vacancies directly, 25% would be recruited from the training house from Bihar. The remaining 25% would be filled up by ex-army men who served the nation.
Qualification
The candidate must have qualified in the state exams or the national exams in any board at large but must be a class XII pass out from any of the reputed boards of the nation. Candidates can also have passed the exams of the equivalent importance and those that are recognized by the government.
Age Criteria
The age limit of the candidates in this job category are within 18 to 23 years in case of general candidates, for OBC candidates, the age criteria lies in the group of 18 to 25 years. The women candidates, can have their age in between 18 to 26 years. For men and women of the Sc and the ST categories, one can have an age limit of 18 to 28.The ex-army men can extend the age limit up to 45 years which helps them immensely to get the job.
Selection Procedures
The candidates would first have to appear for a written examination, after their names have been shortlisted in the panel, disqualifying invalid applications. The next procedure would be to have a physical ability round, where one would be judged on the basis of their physical ability. On conclusion of both the processes, the government would then come up with a list consisting of 5 times as many candidates as are required for the post. The list along with the marks in both the rounds of the candidates would then be sent to the Central Selection Board of Constable (CBSC) where they would help the Government assign most efficient candidates for the post. After this there would be a medical check up round. If any one fails to qualify the medical round, then the government would request the recruitment body to fill up the vacancies by considering the list prepared previously.
