UGC NET 2018: CBSE NET Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates: UGC NET 2018 Application Form has been released from 6th March 2018. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) holds the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC). Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply for UGC NET. CBSE UGC NET determines the eligibility of Indian candidates for Assistant Professor or for Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both. Junior Research Fellowship awardees will be eligible to pursue research in their postgraduate subject from IITs or other national organizations. Such candidates are also eligible for the post of Assistant professor in Indian colleges/Universities. For the year 2018, UGC NET exam will be conducted only one time in a year. CBSE UGC NET 2018 Exam Pattern :

UGC NET 2018 is an offline examination (Conducted via offline mode) by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in all over the India. This examination mainly consists two papers in which all the questions will be objective type questions. Total 150 questions will be asked in UGC NET 2018 examination which is divided into three parts. The two parts will be the paper-I and II. Paper-I will have total 50 questions in which you have to attempt all 50 questions. Paper II will have 100 Questions and have to attempt all 100 questions. UGC NET examination will be conducted in Both Hindi and English medium but candidates will have to choose the medium at the time of application form filling process. The Paper-I will consist all questions related to reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-II will consist all questions related to the concerned subject. Each correct question will carry 2 marks and there is no negative marking.
