The university of Kashmir is ready to organise an entrance exam for the students who are about to take part in the academic session of 2017. Through this, the university will be giving admission to various UG/PG courses. The students need to fill up the JKCET exam form in order to mark their names for the entrance examinations. Before filling up the JKCET exam form the students have to understand the eligibility criteria and other important details relate to the form.

JKCET exam form 2017: apply for UG/PG courses/ important date/exam pattern

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations is a state government authority which is responsible for supervising many state level exams. Mostly the papers that are commenced by the said authority are conducted for getting admission in various colleges and also for government jobs. Similarly this year, the board is about to release the JKCET exam form. This form is for submitting student’s name for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test which is a mandatory exam in order to gain the admission chances over the top engineer colleges in J&K.

Eligibility criteria

  • Candidate must be having a domicile certificate of J&K
  • The candidate must be completed his 10thwith an aggregate percentage of 50%.
  • Must be having chemistry physics and maths as essential subjects.

Form Fee

The candidate needs to submit Rs 800 as a form fee. Also, they can submit the fee as a bank challan copy

How to apply for JKCET exam

The web portal will generate a valid URL from the first week of March. The applicants using this URL will be able to get the form uploaded on the screen. Once loaded, they need to submit the details asked within it. Upload the scanned photograph and make the online payment clear through net banking or another available mode. Review your form and submit it. Note down the details appeared after it.

JKSET Exam Pattern

The paper will be consisting of 60 questions based on multiple choice type pattern. The questions will be asked from the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The difficulty level could be easy to moderate.
