Cut-Off Score

Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories

Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category.

There will be a second level cutoff point on total as per requirement.

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.

IBPS 2017 Cutoff Marks:

The candidate need to score minimum marks in each test and marks score to be get shortlisted for interview.It depends on the number of posts available, the cutoffs marks will be decided after the exam and then candidates get shortlisted for the interview.

Negative Marks: There is penalty charged of 1/4 i.e. 0.25 marks will be levied for every wrong answer. So candidates are advised and must ensure about the correct answer while marking.And there are no marks deducted, if any candidates will leave the questions.

Minimum Cut Off Marks: The candidates have score a minimum marksin each of the paper to for the vacancies in participating banks. They need minimum cut off marks are as follow:

  • For General category: 24 marks
  • For Reserved category: 21 marks

Note: If any candidates will score same marks then merit order will decide as per date of birth (senior candidate will place before over junior candidates).
