The Central University of Kashmir is one of the central universities in India which has been founded after the parliament act for central education and other educational institutions in India. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with research programs in various disciplines. The university consists of School of Business Studies, School of Education, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Languages, School of Legal Studies, School of Life Sciences, School of Media Studies, School of Physical & Chemical Sciences, and School of Social Sciences.
